Many of our clients have asked why we choose to use such a complex programming software for our workouts, and honestly, I get why they may feel some initial frustration with the app. There’s most certainly a learning curve when it comes to using Bridge, but we do everything we can to make that process as pain-free as possible.
The goal isn’t to complicate your training, it’s to give both you and your coach a more complete, connected picture of your progress. Using this high powered programming software, and getting you good with it, is the best possible way to drive your training to the gold standard.
How We Use It For YOU
The way we select the exercises for our programs involves taking the entire group’s considerations into account. There’s a broader prescription for the movements you complete in each workout and everyone follows the same general framework. But the far more important part is HOW you do those exercises. Bridge Athletic allows us to build individualized progression schemes for every single client. That’s where true personalization comes in. The whole group may be back squatting, but your exact loads, rep targets, and progression plan are written specifically for you and your needs. That’s how we individualize training inside a group setting.

Accommodating for Daily Variance
The beauty of Bridge is that it gives us flexibility inside the structure. Training isn’t static. Some days you feel strong and ready to push and other days you’re beat up from life, work, or sleep. Bridge makes it easy for your coach to make quick, informed adjustments to your workout on the fly - whether that means swapping a movement, dropping volume, or changing intensity - without disrupting your long-term progress.
Data Analysis
As a huge data nerd, the tracking side of Bridge is a huge win. Over time, it builds a full picture of your training history. We can look back months or even years and see how far you’ve come; how your squat numbers have progressed, how your volume tolerance has increased, or how consistent you’ve been through different training cycles. It’s powerful to have that kind of data, not just for us as coaches, but for you as a client.
Worlds Collide
Bridge Athletic is the bridge that allows us to bring the meticulous quality of one-on-one training and the energy of a group setting to our gym floor. So if you’re new to Bridge, give it a little time. It’s one of the best tools we have for helping you train smarter, stay accountable, and see just how far your hard work can take you.
